 Read Karen Horney’s essay “The Distrust Between the Sexes” when Horney says, “Mans fear of women is deeply rooted in sex”. Do you think this is true? Is women’s fear of man similarly rooted? Examine this question by comparing at least 2 men’s and women’s magazines to determine what they reveal about this question. Compare their use of social media and visual material, particularly in photos of members of the opposite sex. Also, compare the fiction, specifically forms of fantasy (in males and females), compare advertising to identify interests of men and women- and try to relate these to psychological terms.
